The first Miniforest was build outside the Art Factory in Porvoo, together with the city’sgardening team. The plant came from Harviala Oy and local planting companies. The frame was built with scrap wood from the city such as tree trunks, tree stumps and rotting wood. The Miniforest was located outside the museum for the entire summer and by autumn it was transplanted by the city’s garden team to the surrounding area. The Miniforest gained popularity with local residents, birds and insects.
